The relation between law and society

Every society has a set of rules and regulations written for it which are necessary for its people to follow regardless of the fact that they like it or not. There are amendments made in the laws as well but those amendments are made if they are acceptable and agreed upon by the higher authorities that are given the power to make these sets of rules. Without laws, a society can most certainly not work in a smooth and easy manner and can tend to create chaos and anarchy in this.

Laws make people behave in the most appropriate manner possible making it a safe place for everyone who wants to live in it peacefully and punishes anyone who wishes to disrupt the peace of the society or create problems even for some particular people.

Importance of Law

- Brings order to the lives of the people

Very significant importance of law in a society is that it helps to systemize society and brings order to the lives of the people living there. By following set rules of law that are particularly laid out for them they are able to live their lives with more peace and ease. They know that nothing wrong will happen to them and if it does happen, they will be compensated accordingly.

- Law helps to bring change

Laws are made to help and facilitate people of society. No random laws can be made and applied without first looking at how useful they would be to the lives of the people and if they are sustainable or not. Law aids in bringing change in the society smoothly without creating chaos of any sort and similarly maintains order and discipline like it is required by the people and for the people.

- Law promotes good and keeps a balance

Law differentiates between the good and bad happening and encourages the people to do the good that would benefit their fellows as well and penalizes the ones breaking the laws as well making sure to maintain the balance between good and bad. Without law there would be chaos and people would be able to do anything that they want to without realizing that they would have to face consequences to their actions done.

Laws are very important and constitute a main part of life as well as maintaining a perfect balance between everything.
